Day Two of Our Non-Release Festivities and Sale!

Hello, friends! Welcome back! In case you've just stumbled on us, we aren't having our usual release on the 21st of this month. The reason for that is good, although I'm afraid I can't yet share what it is. In the meantime, we thought we'd go ahead and celebrate anyway by having a sale! Now through Sunday, April 21st, everything is on sale for 21% off!

For today's non-previews, our designers were challenged to create a Mother's Day or an otherwise feminine card. Wowzaa, check these out!

Welcome to Our Non-Release Festivities!

Hello, friends! Normally, we would begin previews today of the stamp sets to be released on the 21st. However, this month we're not having a release. No worries... the reason is a good one... a great one!... but it has kept me busy behind the scenes, focusing my efforts there. I was hoping to be able to announce what exactly that is today, but it isn't to be. You'll have to bear with me just a little longer.

We didn't want the lack of a release to stop us from celebrating something, so we thought about it and realized that the 21st is The Craft's Meow's month-a-versary! LOL! The 21st is, of course, also our normal monthly release day. Sooooo for a limited time we are offering a 21% discount off of everything in the store!!! That's right, everything! (The sale lasts through 11:59 pm Pacific on April 21st.)

So, what we're going to do is share cards/projects with you every day through April 21st, just as if we're having our normal previews and new release blog hop. But instead of introducing you to new stamp sets, we'll be looking at some of the older, but not forgotten. Actually, I'm fibbing a little. We will have a new stamp set released on April 21st as our new free gift with purchase. That stamp set will be showcased on the 20th. You can still get Sweet Silhouettes as your free gift with $50 purchase (net of discount) through the 20th, or purchase a set starting April 21st.

So, on with the show! Our fabulously talented designers were challenged to create a card for a child for today's post. After seeing what they came up with, it's clear that Vintage Rides is a favorite! :)

Thoughts of Love

Hi there!

Jessica here popping in to share a couple of cards I've made recently with 'love' on my mind!  My first card uses the new Take the Cake stamp set - such fun elements included in this huge set!  My second card below uses the sweet Baby Shelf stamp set.

As you can see, I went in shades of purple for my first card and shades of yellow for my second.  I think I have spring on my mind too!

Have a wonderful day - filled with thoughts of love!

Sending You Smiles

Hello friends, Jennifer here to share a card with you that I made with a "new to me" set - Sent With Love.  I've had my eye on this set for a while and just got it!  Couldn't wait to get it inky!  I just adore the images in this set and think they are perfect for masculine or feminine cards!  I started out making a card for my husband so I chose the chocolates and kraft colors.

I layered a thick piece of burlap ribbon over the top of a panel of cream cardstock that I stamped with one of the sentiments in the set.  I then stamped the collage image onto some craft cardstock, cut it out, and distressed the edges.  When I placed it on the top of the ribbon, I thought the card needed more so I picked some blush paper roses and added them to the card.  I think the roses make the card a bit too feminine for my husband but perfect for my mom who moved to Oregon late last year and who I miss so much!

Thanks for visiting today and I hope you have a wonderful day!
