Welcome New DT Member Larissa Heskett

We have another fabulous designer joining our creative team! Everybody give it up for Larissa Heskett!

Some words from Larissa....

I 've been married to my best friend Adam for almost 8 years. We have two handsome boys, Beckett (6 years old) and Greyson (7 months)! Both are more than blessings from God! We live on our family farm, and I enjoy EVERY aspect of living a rural life.

I'm a Certified Surgical Technician, but I'm very blessed with being able to be a stay-at-home mom, and I enjoy crafting in every way, baking/cooking, gardening, singing, nature and taking photos. The work on our farm is never done, so we stay busy 24/7 helping in any way that is needed.

Evenings are my creative time. I've been a creative soul from birth and really got my start in 4-H (making it to the State Fair was a goal each year - which I did)! I LOVE to stamp and have been doing so for the last 3 years. I LOVE all of the inspiration and the creative people I've found/met online and through other events! I also LOVE to try new techniques and experiment with my supplies!

I've made my dream of becoming a published artist a reality and will have my first works in CARDS Magazine Nov/Dec issue, with more to follow after that! I have guest designed and designed for several of my favorite manufactures, and I look forward to inspiring you with the AMAZING TMC products!! I cannot even begin to explain how HONORED and EXCITED I am to have the opportunity to design with The Craft’s Meow design team.

Have a FABULOUS and CREATIVE WEEK, everybody!!!

We're as thrilled to have Larissa as she's thrilled to be here and hope you'll take a moment to leave a note to congratulate her. Keep your eyes open because she's definitely All That And A Pack of Crackers!

(And a whole lot more - check out her blog!)

Thanks for stopping and have a blessed day,
Deborah, DT Coordinator

Our Final Creative Addition to the TCM Family

It's a new week and Day #3 of our
BIG ANNOUNCEMENTS!

We have aNOTHer great designer joining our
team and we want you to meet her right NOW!

"My family and I live in a small suburb of Kansas City, just over an hour and a half north of where I grew up.  I am a former, kindergarten teacher turned adoring wife to BJ and stay-at-home, homeschool mom to a smart, spunky, nine-year-old Ezekiel and a vocal, tenacious, four-year-old Adina.  When I’m not taking care of or playing with my family, you can find me cooking, baking, gardening, camping, sewing, taking pictures, and of course, paper crafting.  My love for the latter started, over eleven years ago, at a Stampin’ Up workshop; but I have been creating with any and every form of crafting media, that I could get my hands on, since I was old enough to hold a crayon.  I’ve been honored to have had a number of published works of art, as well as to get to design for some of my most favorite manufacturers, and cannot even begin to explain how excited I am to have the opportunity to design with The Craft’s Meow team.
I hope that I can inspire you all to get creating."

We are thrilled to have Jinny with us and hope you will
take a moment to leave a note to congratulate her.

So there you have it!

Angi Barrs
Amy Crockett
&
Jinny Newlin

join our terrific team here at TCM!

It's going to be a very CREATIVE Summer!

The TCM Family Grows Even More!

We are so happy you came by to see who our
NEXT NEW DESIGN TEAM MEMBER
is so let's get right to her!

Hi, my name is Amy and my blog is called Scrapping Mommy
I live in a little town in northern Utah with my loving husband of 14 years and our three adorable kiddos. I have been paper crafting for about 10 years, but I have been crafting in one way or another my whole life.....thanks to my grandmother who I spent much of my childhood with. She was a very talented crafter who taught me many things about style and details......something that I hope to be able to pass on to my own children.  My style is generally clean and well balanced, but I like to go wherever inspiration leads me. Because I am a mom to little ones, you can often find me up crafting into the wee hours of the morning. I also have a passion for photography, gardening, reading, cooking and baking, and you can usually find me hiking and fishing up in the beautiful Utah mountains during the summer months.

We are so happy to have Amy aboard with our team
bringing her own brand of creativity to TCM.
Please take a moment to wish her well!

We'll see you back here at MIDNIGHT EST TONIGHT
with one more new designer!

It's SO exciting...isn't it??!!

Welcome Our Newest Designer!

Hello and welcome to The Craft's Meow!

You picked a great day to stop by because we have
some pretty fabby news!

TCM is excited to welcome our newest Design Team Member

Deborah Nolan

Deborah's thrilled to join TCM's design team! She's been making cards for about five years and writes a tongue-in-cheek blog, The Society of Stampaholics (acronym SOS) when she’s not hanging out with Spouse and their daughter Gigi. She's currently a staffer for the online magazine, Scrapbook News & Review and a member of the Memory Box design team. She also teaches local and online card classes in an attempt to subsidize a chronic case of supply-related “I Wants.” Past paper-related thrills include co-owning and editing Lily Pad Cards, being chosen for the Win-a-Day competition on the Hero Arts blog, and being an original Hero Arts Hostess. Deborah’s been published in Cards, Paper TrendsStamper’s SamplerSomerset Studio ,
Take Ten, and Paper Crafts Magazine.

We know you will love what Deborah brings to our team as
she will be presenting our stamps to you in some pretty
'creative' ways!

We hope you will take a moment let us know you stopped by
& to leave a little love for her.

Our Design Team Family Grows!

Welcome to The Craft's Meow Store blog.
Julie Ranae here with you with some
pretty EXciting news for you today!

We are super-duper excited to welcome

Two

New

Designers

to our team!

Clare Buswell & Jennie Harper

Clare Buswell

"Hi! My name is Clare Buswell.
Niall and I live in the south-west of Ireland in the countryside
with our lovely 5 year old daughter Isabelle.

I've always been creative in some form or another, I have a passion for painting and I've tried lots of different crafts over the years. I love quilling and making my own embellishments. I studied graphic design at art college. I only discovered stamping after the birth of my daughter when I had little time for painting but longed to be creative. Card making was the perfect answer for me as it satisfied all my creative needs. I haven’t looked back since. I’ve been lucky enough to have my work published in Paper Crafts, CARDS and CardMaker magazines in the US and I design regularly for
Cardmaking and Papercraft Magazine in the UK.

When I’m not paper-crafting I love to spend my time
gardening, baking and with my family.

I’m so excited to be part of The Craft’s Meow design team!"

Jennie Harper

"Hello! My name is Jennie Harper and I am thrilled to be joining The Craft's
Meow design team! My husband and I live in North Carolina with our three
children, whom I homeschool. I was first introduced to paper crafting in
2000, but didn't quite understand the fascination with card making until
2005... when all of a sudden it hit me (like a ton of bricks)! Now rarely a
day goes by that I don't squeeze in a little crafty time. Paper crafting has
blessed me with sweet friendships from creative card makers from all over
the world! This community of paper crafters is quite a treasure and I am
blessed to be a small part.

When I am not paper crafting, I love spending time with my family, reading,
and cooking! I am looking forward to working with The Craft's Meow team and
sharing my paper crafted projects with you!"

We are looking forward to having these talented ladies with us
and know they are the perfect addition to our
creative team!
Look forward to seeing them during TCM's
New Release Week
beginning Feb 17th!

We hope you will take a moment to leave a note
to welcome Clare & Jennie to the TCM family!

Welcome Jen, Sharri and Veronica to Team TCM!!!

Hello again! Today I'm introducing you to three more of our newest Design Team members... the fabulous Jen del Muro, Sharri Seffens and Veronica Zalis!!! Please join me in giving these ladies a warm TCM welcome!!!

Howdy!  I'm Jen del Muro.  I live in North Texas (Flower Mound to be exact) with my hubby, 2 kiddos, 2 dogs, and a sly black cat.  I have a passion for all things paper crafting, especially stamping...of course!  I'm not sure when my love for paper crafting began, but once I was introduced to stamping, I was hooked.  I try to create something almost everyday (yes, really).  My favorite part of crafting, besides the awesome and ever changing product selections/choices, is the people.  I have become connected with so many wonderful people through this craft and am thankful for their friendship and talent they share.  I am so happy to be a part of The Craft's Meow team and look forward to sharing my creations with you!

Hi everyone! My name is Sharri Seffens and I am thrilled to be a part of The Crafts Meow Team! Thank you Lisa!

I live in Stoughton, Wisconsin and work full time as an IT Project Manager. I am married to a wonderful man who is also my best friend. We have two 2 beautiful daughters ages 26 and 10. Ashley will be blessing us with our first grandchild in the spring, 2013! I started paper crafting shortly after the birth of Abbi and fell in love instantly. I love all styles and let my mood decide which one I go with for each card I make. I love this hobby and am grateful to be a part of this amazing community of crafters, the people I have met, and the friends I have made.  I am really looking forward to inspiring everyone with TCM stamps!

Hello! My name is Veronica Zalis and I live in Southeast Oklahoma. I am a stay-at-home mom of two beautiful little boys. I have been married to my best friend and biggest cheerleader for 9 years.  I was invited to a neighborhood card swap in Texas in 2003, and I have been a cardmaker ever since. I have made many wonderful crafty  friends along the way and look forward to making many more!

I know these ladies, along with Gayatri Murali and Lin Brandyberry (announced yesterday), will be a great addition to our TCM family! I am beyond thrilled to welcome them to our team!!! Am I lucky or what? :)

Thanks so much for stopping by. We'll be back on Saturday to celebrate World Card Making Day with all of you so please stay tuned!

Welcome Gayatri and Lin to Team TCM!!!

Hello friends! I'm popping in today to introduce you to two of the five newest members of our Design Team, Gayatri Murali and Lin Brandyberry! Please join me in extending a warm TCM welcome to these amazing artists!

My name is Gayatri Murali. I live in Australia with my husband, two children heading into their teens, and a one-year-old cocker spaniel named Charlie. I am a therapist by profession working with children with Autism. I started out as a scrapbooker six years ago, but now I've turned into a full time cardmaker. My style is stamps, inks and cardstock, clean and simple. I also love bright colors and modern graphic design. I enjoy the process of designing. I find crafting very therapeutic. A lot of my free time is spent at my craft desk either planning or designing. I am super thrilled to design for The Craft's Meow and also be working with an amazing team!

Hi!  I'm Lin and I live in Canton, Ohio with my husband of 41 years.  We have been blessed with 2 sons and 3 grandchildren.  A former quilter, I was introduced to stamping in 2005, and now I love making cards, playing with paper just like I did with my fabrics.  I love flowers and hearts, paper-piecing, fussy-cutting, and just playing with color.  I started my blog devoted to card making in 2009 and the years have flown by since; almost every day you'll find me in my craft room working on a card.  A huge part of my love of this craft is the friends I've made on- and off-line; card makers  are wonderful people!   I've been a big fan of The Craft's Meow stamps, and I'm thrilled to be a part of this amazing team!   I'm looking forward to working with my fellow team members to inspire you.

I'll be back tomorrow to introduce you to the other three newest design team members! See you then!

Introducing Our Newest Design Team Members... and Sneak Peeks Thrown in for Good Measure!

Hello everyone! I'm soooo excited that this day is finally here... the day when we reveal our three newest design team members!

Please help me give a warm TCM welcome to Amy Wanford, Jackie Rockwell and Jen Cuthbertson!!!

Hey! I'm Amy Wanford (although I'm usually known by the name, Aimes) and I'm a tea lovin' gal from England who loves to indulge in inky therapy. I've always been a creative person and discovered a love for stamps and ink in 2009 (and consequently started my blog, Crafting Confessions) and haven't looked back since.  My preferred style is a clean and simple (CAS) one, although I'm always happy to experiment every now and again (with varying results LOL!).

Between my full-time job in education and my inky therapy time to chillax, you can also find me on a football (soccer) pitch or behind a bass guitar playing along with my guy!

I'm super excited to be here on the TCM Design Team!  I can't believe the fun adventures this amazing hobby has taken me on and I hope you'll join me for this one especially.  :)

Hi my name is Jackie Rockwell and I'm so excited to be a part of the TCM team! When I started my creative blog Rockwell Designs, I never dreamed that it would be this much fun and that I would meet so many talented crafters! I'm a Graphic Designer by trade but love to spend much of my spare time stamping. I've had the paper crafting bug for over 10 years now and it's not going away anytime soon! Making cards allows me to get off of the computer, get messy and relax. I'm married to a very sweet and supportive husband, we have 3 wonderful children, 2 rambunctious grandsons and 2 little dogs named Kippy and Bear. I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone at The Craft's Meow!

Hi! My name is Jen Cuthbertson. I live and work in beautiful San Francisco, California where my day job is to manage information security policy for a "big bank" which I love.  I've been married to my best friend, Glen, for 5 years and we live in a 1 bedroom apartment with our cat, Yoda.  Yes, I dream of having a studio of my own one day where I can spread out and get glitter all over the place, though it is pretty funny when it ends up on the cat or my husband's cheek!

I picked up paper crafting and stamping in 2009 because I really needed a hobby and I have been richly blessed by having a number of projects published and the opportunity to design for my favorite companies.  I also love the Giants, Moto GP, and traveling (Japan and Monaco are on my wish list these days.)

I am beyond thrilled to join the brilliant and inspiring team at The Craft's Meow and can't wait to ink up those wonderful stamps!  Thank you, Lisa, for having me! (You can visit Jen on her blog I'm Crafty, Be Crafty.)

To say I'm thrilled beyond words to have these ladies join Team TCM is an understatement!!! You will LOVE what they contribute to our little world here, which you'll get to see for yourself when previews start on Saturday. :)

Speaking of which, how about a little sneak peek of three of the six stamp sets we will be releasing on March 21st... which just so happens to be The Craft's Meow's FIRST BIRTHDAY?!! Oh, yes, Nina B Designs has done it again! These are sure to inspire and delight!

Please join us tomorrow for more! There is so much to share over the next several days you won't want to miss it! We are celebrating our birthday in a BIG WAY!!! Have a great day!!!

Design Team Changes

Hello there! Many wonderful things are going on behind the scenes here at The Craft's Meow and time is flying! I'm popping in today to announce something not quite so wonderful. Boo hoo, we're saying goodbye to four of our design team members... Debbie Pamment, Alice Wertz, Lynn Miller and Viola Mahr. These ladies have done such beautiful work with TCM stamps and I feel like dropping to the ground, grabbing onto their ankles, and begging them not to go. But I can't be that selfish. Each has her own very good reason for stepping down. They will be missed, but I know they will always be friends of The Craft's Meow and of me personally, and for that I'm very grateful.

On a more upbeat note, I'm very happy to announce that I'm getting some much-needed help! Julie Ranae is now the Design Team Coordinator (thank you Julie!!!) and Amy Tsuruta is now Sketch Challenge Coordinator (thank you Amy!!!). Lindsay Amrhein continues to help me with Social Media, for which I'm very grateful.

I hope you'll stay tuned, especially over the next few days, as we have THREE exciting things coming up that you won't want to miss! :)

See you tomorrow!

June 26, 2011

This stamp set is really cool...

... or should I say HOT?

Previews of all FOUR new stamp sets being released on July 1st will start tomorrow!!! Yay!!!

In the meantime, I have more fantastic news to share!

First up, I am so glad I can finally let the cat out of the bag (*grin*) and tell you about two new additions to the TCM family!

The fabulous Nadia Cannizzo is joining us as Kit Designer... and in a whole new way that you've yet to see! You'll have to wait just a bit longer to hear all about it, but more wonderful things are coming soon to The Craft's Meow... and you'll want to stay tuned!!! Hint: notice that Nadia is an AMAZING scrapbooker.

And wait... that's not all... hold onto your hat... guess who's joining the Design Team?! Just guess! Okay, I won't keep you in suspense any longer. (*grin*) It's the one and only Julie Ranae!!! Oh yes, Julie's window is opening on The Craft's Meow in a big way! Not only will she design glorious things with our stamps, but she will be producing our brand new newsletter!!!

I mentioned in an earlier post that our newsletter will debut on July 1st. You won't want to miss out on all the news and special offers from The Craft's Meow, so if you haven't already, you can subscribe in the little box on the upper right sidebar of this blog. If when you enter your email the system tells you you're already subscribed, that's because you've made a purchase at The Craft's Meow and opted to receive marketing, so you're all set! And YES there will be a special discount code for newsletter subscribers in the premier issue!!!

You can read more about these lovely ladies on the Stamp & Kit Designers and Design Team pages. Welcome Nadia and Julie Ranae!!!

Are you still with me? I hope so because I want to announce the three Friends of The Craft's Meow for the month of July.  These are friends of mine who will showcase our stamps as guest designers on a rotating basis. I couldn't be more excited than to announce these three treasures!

What can I say about Amy that you don't already know? She is one of the most fantastical stamp and card artists around!!! I love visiting her blog... her designs just sing to my heart. I love the way she colors, I love the way she creates scenes with her images, and I love her fun and upbeat blog posts. I sit with a smile on my face, my nose pressed to the screen, drinking it all in. To say it's an honor to have her as a Friend of TCM is putting it mildly. Wait until you see what she does with TCM images combined with character images later in the month. Yowser!

In Amy's own words: I'm a small town nerdy girl from the Pacific Northwest who loves stamping, cardmaking and scrapbooking. I've had an affinity for all sorts of arts and crafts from as far back as I can remember, but it wasn't until 2002 that I was introduced to scrapbooking. Then a little over two years ago I found Copics, along with all of the wonderful stamps that I could color with them, and I was immediately hooked. Now I enjoy blogging and sharing my creations on a daily basis, and I treasure the community of fellow stampers that I have been so lucky to get to know through this wonderful hobby of ours.

Some non-crafty tidbits about me include... historical romance novels are a total guilty pleasure, I'm a huge Gleek and the only songs on my iPod are Glee songs, I have the cutest Yorkie and the craziest cat to keep me company when I'm not at work, and I have a very active imagination which I hope to someday translate into a story or two that I can share with others. :)

Miesje (pronounced mee-sha) is very dear to me. I got to know her when she joined us on the Design Team at Stampin' Sisters in Christ and she quickly won my heart. She is the most generous, thoughtful, helpful person you would ever want to know, with a very powerful testimony. She never fails to lift my spirits. I'm so grateful to her for her support of my wee business, and couldn't be more happy to call her not just a Friend of TCM but a friend of mine.

In Miesje's own words: I live in the sunny (and hot) state of Florida with my best friend and husband of 40 years. We have raised 8 children and have consequently been blessed with 13 wonderful grandchildren. I started stamping about 10 years ago and dabbled at it for quite awhile, not thinking I would ever share them. Then I discovered the wonderful  combination of stamping and blogging and exploring all the different techniques and materials about 3 years ago and – well, it opened a whole new world. I have made such wonderful friends and enjoy the camaraderie, support, and encouragement from all over the world. It is amazing! I am super excited to help showcase the wonderful stamps here at TCM, I have been buying them from day one and love them all! It is an amazing release and I am thrilled to be a part of it.

I met Ren-Yi during my time with Waltzingmouse Stamps. She is such a friendly and out-going person, with an infectious enthusiasm. Right from the start she was urging me on, offering help and advice, and being an all-around bright spot in my day. I couldn't be more grateful for her encouragement and support of TCM, and I'm thrilled that she agreed to take time out of her incredibly busy schedule to play with us this month!

In Ren-Yi's own words: Hi there - my name is Ren-Yi, and I am a foodie and craft addict. I love making things with my hands, be it baking, cooking, knitting, crocheting, or paper crafting. I am a Software Engineer by day, but a "Jill of All Trades" by night. My vices include TV, music, blog hopping and retail therapy via crafting purchases. I currently live in New Jersey with my two cats and love to hike, kayak & play outdoors when the weather is just right. I am amazed every day by the crafting online community and am lucky to have met so many great people through paper crafting. Feel free to stop by my little blog space Smallhanded Adventures, and I will be sure to come say hi.

Once again, the previews start tomorrow, so be sure to join us and see what these ladies have been up to!!!
