Hello, how are you?

Nina here on the blog with a simple friendship card using The Craft's Meow's Stitched Sentiments stamp set. I also used Want2Scrap's Nestabling Labels Twenty Five Silver Rhinestone and my favorite Ribbon Rose 1".

I first cut a panel from the Basic Grey paper and adhered that to a red cardstock to show a bit on the sides. I then die cut the center with Spellbinders Labels 25.  I centered the panel on the card front without adhering it and stamped the sentiment in the center hole.

I popped the card panel using foam dots and carefully placed the Nestabling Labels Twenty Five Silver Rhinestone around the frame. Finally, I adhered the Ribbon Rose 1" along the bottom.

 Have a great day, friends!

A Couple of Simple Cards

Good morning! Ivana here today with a couple of cards to share.  I usually don't do very many simple designs on my cards, but lately, I have been drawn to the clean look, so I have been trying  a little more to keep my cards as simple as possible, and I find stamping is just the trick for this. It adds a lot of interest, without adding too much bulk or too many fussy layers to the card.

So, here are two of the most recent "simple" cards I've created with lovely TCM stamps!

I absolutely love colors inspired by Springtime, so I wanted to make a card that used all of these happy, cheery colors.

I also wanted to make a little crafty invitation using the beautiful Crafty Shelf stamps.

For the top of the card, I layered a felt scalloped heart, with a scalloped circle die & miniature die-cut heart. I added some punched paper leaves and liquid pearls to finish the embellishment.

I stamped three hearts using the Lark Additions stamp set, and stamped the sentiment using the Crafty Shelf set.

Peeking just under the middle heart, is a doily border, and the soft yellow and pink papers finish off the base of the card.

I stamped and cut out another wood-grain heart, and layered a pink heart on top to finish off the bottom of the card.

For this card, I decided to do a bit of stamping on the cardstock to dress it up, and then I added a couple of layers of patterned paper.

For the top of the card, I embellished a simple white heart border with some liquid pearls, and added a stamped and die-cut button.

The center flower is a die-cut, which I inked, and then added a button & liquid pearls to.

The borders and the sentiments are both from the Beautiful Hymns stamp set.

I love how fun stamping can be and how it can dress up simple cards!
Hope you'll give it a try!

Thanks for joining me today,

Cherished

What better way to beat the winter blues than to pull out a beautiful, spring stamp and ink it up?

Cherished, designed by Nina Bracket, has a lovely spring collage image. I stamped the entire image, then fussy cut around the hydrangea and colored it with Copics. After inking the edges, the flower was adhered to a cardstock panel that was scrored and ink distressed (to mimic the look of wainscot). I finished the card with some purple punched trim and raffia ribbon, and a selectively inked sentiment from the same set.

There are so many wonderful spring and floral sets offered by The Craft's Meow, you can find them here or click on the "Spring & Floral Stamp Sets" tab on the left side of the newly designed store web page!

Thanks for letting me chase away the winter blues with you today! ~ Karen, from The Bald Dragonfly

Pretty Pastel Thanks Card!

Hey dear TCM fans!
Gayatri here today sharing a card using pastel colours.
First here is the card for you.

I have used Flower Garden and Many Thanks stamp sets to make my card. First I trimmed a 4'x 51/4' white cardstock. I then made a banner mask and masked slightly above the middle of the card panel. I then stamped the flowers in grey, pastel yellow and blue. Stamped leaves in pastel green. I have used Impress Inks for the colours and Going Gray SU ink for the grey. I then removed the mask. You can stamp the sentiment on the masked area but I wanted the sentiment to stand out. So I stamped the bold sentiment from Many Thanks stamp set on a scrap white cardstock and made a banner. I have adhered this banner using foam adhesives. To add interest, I added some rhinestones as well. This finished panel is adhered on to the cardfront using foam adhesive.

Here are the two stamp sets I used for my card.
