The Design Team Call Has Concluded...

Hello friends! I'm popping in today (finally!) to let you know that we have now contacted the finalists for the Design Team (and guest designers) and are happy to report that they all have accepted our invitation to join Team TCM! To say that this was a difficult decision is an understatement. We LOVED all the submissions... each offered something very special...and we appreciated all the LOVE we received from you good people. Thank you sooooo much!!!

We will introduce the new designers to you soon. In the meantime, we are still awaiting word on our August release, which will now occur in September, due to a big change at the stamp manufacturing company. It's been a nightmare for many of us. All we can do is hope that things will settle back to normal... or better than normal... soon! Thank you for hanging in there with us. We promise it will be worth the wait!

I'm here to remind you about The Craft's Meow August Sketch Challenge:

Status of Design Team Call

Hello friends! I'm popping in today to let you know that the DT call closed last night and we have more than 70 applicants! Whew!!! And what a LOT of loveliness! Narrowing it down to just four will be sooooo hard!  We hope to contact the finalists within the next few days, so please stay tuned. I'll post again when they have all been contacted.

Thank you all so much for your kind words and interest in TCM. We're so honored and happy that you love our stamps!!!

... a little hitch...

Yes, we have a little hitch in our getalong here at TCM. Due to issues on the manufacturing side of things, we have no choice but to postpone our August release. Boo hoo!!!

I don't have a new date yet for the release, but I'm told it will be up to two weeks. Yikes! I hope you'll hang in there with us during the wait. We'll be back soon with some fun stuff for you to do and prizes for you to win! ;)

In the meantime, there's our August Card Sketch Challenge. And don't forget about our sale on retiring stamps! Some have already sold out, so you might want to hurry over there for the best selection.

I'm popping in today to introduce you to our August guest designer, the fabulous Suzanne Bier!!!

Hi! I’m Suzanne Bier and I’m thrilled to be a guest designer for The Craft's Meow!

I live in Washington State with Scott, my husband of almost six years, and our dachshund, Midnight (who is often my crafting companion)! 

I’ve been crafting for as long as I can remember, and I love to color, create, and fussy cut! I began scrapbooking five years ago, and switched to stamping and card making shortly after! I'm now a stay-at-home-crafter, but in my previous life, I worked in public relations and graphic design, which have both come in pretty handy as I progress in my creative career!

It’s never easy to move every few years (my husband serves in the military), but I’ve been lucky to make so many wonderful friends through crafting, and that makes each transition a little easier!

Thanks so much for the opportunity to share my creations with you all this month! I hope they will inspire you to create something totally fabulous!

August 6-20, 2012

Do you love to stamp?  

Even better, do you love to stamp with TCM images?

Do you enjoy inspiring others?

Then it may be YOU we are looking for!

Design Team Term:  

6 months

Sept-March, 2013

Open Internationally

Requirements: 

*1 project post for each new release set

(average of 4-6 new releases per month)

during our previews and New Release Blog Hop

 and at least one other time in the month

prior to the next release

(which can include our sketch challenge)

*Promote The Craft’s Meow on your blog, online galleries

such as Flickr, Splitcoaststampers, Two Peas in a Bucket, etc

and social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter & Google+

It is NOT a requirement to be a part of these sites, but we do

encourage you to be a part of SCS & Two Peas

*An active blog and good photography skills.

All TCM projects will be required to be uploaded

to the TCM Gallery

The Craft’s Meow will provide:

* Approx. $60-$80 in stamps and product specific

to The Craft’s Meow for each release during your term

(six releases scheduled)

* Compensation for any PRINT publication projects

which feature stamps & product specific to The Craft’s Meow
(compensation will be in the form of free stamp sets)

*  Product discounts on orders from The Craft’s Meow

*Exposure for your blog including direct links

each time you participate with a required post or

TCM blog hop event

To apply, please provide the following:

* Your name

*Your blog name and link

* Photos of three (3 only please) projects 

that showcase you as a designer

We only need three to get a feel for your style!

Because of the number of submissions we receive

NOT LINKS TO PHOTOS/RESUMES

PLEASE SIZE THEM APPROPRIATELY FOR EMAIL VIEWING

We do ask that you limit additional 'links' to additional information.

With the number of blogs we will have to visit, we will not have

time to visit resume links, credit links, etc,

so please include the specific information in your submission.

Of course, we would love for you to use stamps from

The Craft’s Meow

but it is not required to apply
