Blessings

Stacey here sharing a little Christmas inspiration using one of the new stamp sets at The Craft's Meow!  This set, Christmas Blessings, is loaded with beautiful and faith-filled sentiments and three gorgeous distressed silhouette images.   

After choosing just the right papers, I die cut a stitched circle and doily for some layering.  I heat embossed both the angel and star images with white embossing powder, then sponged around them with distress inks to make them more visible...even though, I love the subtle look that they have.  The sentiment tag was inked up in gray and sewn down onto the front panel of the card.  Finally, a few sequins were sprinkled and some baker's twine was added to finish this card off!

If you look closely to the sentiment tag, there are some aqua leaves stamped collage-style onto the patterned paper. The sentiments on the tag and card front panel were heat embossed to create a bold shine and texture.

How exciting to have the opportunity to work with The Craft's Meow stamps and alongside the talented TCM gals!  I'm a wife, a mom of three, and a special education teacher living in rural Illinois... and I LOVE to get lost in my craft cave!  My passion for paper-crafting started once I attended a stamping party.
