Happy Thanksgiving

Howdy, friends!  It's Jinny here to share a page I made using Angelica's Speaking of Fall stamp set.  As soon as I saw it, I knew that somehow, someway, it needed to be used on a layout.  Unfortunately, I ran out of time to make it happen during its release week, but I finally got around to getting it done and couldn't be any more pleased with the outcome.
I just had to give you a close-up of those delicious, little leaves.  I stamped the polka dots in the same color of ink as the leaves themselves, and although they didn't take as well to the texture of this particular patterned paper as they do to regular cardstock, I still love that the repetition of polka dots is apparent.
Stamped vellum, laid right over photographs, is one of my favorite things ever, and this bit of word art works perfectly for just such.
I also tied in a few of the sentiments from this set on a little, die-cut flag...
as well as in the title itself.
I'd love for you to stop by my blog to get all the nitty gritty details.  Thanks so much for looking, and may your Thanksgiving seasons be truly blessed!  Hugs!

God Understands Our Prayers

Hey, friends!  It's Jinny here to share a soft, girly, little number to highlight one of Nina's gorgeous, chalkboard sentiments.
I'm a huge fan of the chalkboard trend but wanted to go for a bit of a softer look.  So I overlaid a cardstock panel, which had been stamped with flourishes and two sizes of little hearts, with vellum in order to frame the actual sentiment.  And just because I like a clean, un-tampered with look to my vellum, I anchored it with machine stitching.
A couple more flourishes, stamped right on the vellum itself, and a simple, embossed butterfly ground the design.
Thanks so much for stopping by, y'all!  I hope that I've given you just a bit of inspiration for your own creative times this week.  Have a blessed Sunday!

Relax and Enjoy the Day

Morning, friends!  It's Jinny here to share a card inspired by the colors of fall.
I LOVE the look of stamped images on patterned paper, so that's where I began with this creation.
Throw in a couple other patterns, lots more stamping, and a trio of textural elements, not to mention a hint of glitter, and that "RELAX AND ENJOY YOUR DAY" sentiment gets this card ready for a number of different occasions, which makes it the perfect addition to my stash.
Those little envelopes also make a great spot for a gift card for the intended recipient.
Thanks so much for stopping by, y'all!  Have a truly blessed weekend!

A Gift From Above

Hey, y'all!  It's Jinny here to share a sweet card, boasting two goodies from the TCM Store.  I'm on a team, in my church, for taking hot, homemade meals to new moms and can never seem to have enough baby cards to send with them.  So, I tapped into one of our newest sets, Vintage Baby; paired it with an oldie but a goodie, Sending You Sunshine; and came up with this pretty, little number.
A little ink sponging and spritzing prep the background for lots of layers of color-coordinating, patterned papers, a few of which were machine-stitched and/or separated with foam tape for dimension, as well as the silver-embossed, on a hand-cut, vellum banner, to permit the view of all those yummy patterns, sentiment...
which was flanked by those cute, hand-cut and colored, with pencils and mineral spirits, images.
Some yummy ribbon and trims and, of course, a sweet button and kiss of glitter make this card ready to be packaged with, just as an example ;), a savory pan of chicken enchiladas, Spanish rice, homemade guacamole, tortilla chips, and fruit or lettuce salad.  Mmmm!  I'm making myself hungry.
Thanks so much for peeking in, folks!  Have a creative day!

Congratulations

Hey, y'all!  It's Jinny here to share a pretty, little number, inspired by a trio of goodies you can find right in our TCM Store.  Enjoy!
I'm a huge fan of layers and have managed to tie in a number of just such to this creation.  A little stamping, on a variety of different surfaces including vellum...
paper-piecing, and lots of yummy ribbons and trims cooked up a little something special for a wedding, graduation, or whatever occasion may need a congratulatory wish.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  May your weekends be full of creativity!

For a Special Couple

Hey, y'all!  It's Jinny here with a card, boasting a few, fabulous goodies from our latest release, to share.  Enjoy!
I've been using my Cameo for literally everything lately, and this creation was no different.  I tapped into its resources for that yummy frame and inked it all up to form the evening sky.  Then, all my stamping took place right on top.  And just to help the secondary sentiment stand out a bit more, I placed it on vellum.  Before securing it all, to the card face, with that machine stitching I love so much and wrapping it up tight with an embellished, gingham ribbon, I grounded each bloom with a clear gemstone.
Thanks so much for peeking in!  Have an inspirational day!

Our Final Creative Addition to the TCM Family

It's a new week and Day #3 of our
BIG ANNOUNCEMENTS!

We have aNOTHer great designer joining our
team and we want you to meet her right NOW!

"My family and I live in a small suburb of Kansas City, just over an hour and a half north of where I grew up.  I am a former, kindergarten teacher turned adoring wife to BJ and stay-at-home, homeschool mom to a smart, spunky, nine-year-old Ezekiel and a vocal, tenacious, four-year-old Adina.  When I’m not taking care of or playing with my family, you can find me cooking, baking, gardening, camping, sewing, taking pictures, and of course, paper crafting.  My love for the latter started, over eleven years ago, at a Stampin’ Up workshop; but I have been creating with any and every form of crafting media, that I could get my hands on, since I was old enough to hold a crayon.  I’ve been honored to have had a number of published works of art, as well as to get to design for some of my most favorite manufacturers, and cannot even begin to explain how excited I am to have the opportunity to design with The Craft’s Meow team.
I hope that I can inspire you all to get creating."

We are thrilled to have Jinny with us and hope you will
take a moment to leave a note to congratulate her.

So there you have it!
