January Leaves
Hello The Craft's Meow Fans! I hope you had an enjoyable New Year's Day!
One of the things I look for in a stamp set is its versatility. If it is a themed or season based stamp set, I question: Can I use this for other than it's intended reason? We all want a good bang for our buck, right? I try to keep this in mind when designing stamp sets for The Craft's Meow as well.
My card today showcases Golden Days, a set released in the fall that features many fall based images and fall and Thanksgiving Sentiments. However, I've changed up the colors to pinks and maroons instead of oranges and rusts to create a birthday card! I stamped repeatedly the four little leaves included in the set in various shades of pink. I added a birthday sentiment from Lovely Ovals, topped the card with a big, luscious bow and finished it with a spray of shine (which you can't see in the photo, sorry! Trust me though, it adds a nice touch of elegance).
The Craft's Meow has a number of sets that can be used for multiple occasions, plus they can be used interchangeably! Thanks for stopping by today.
